¡Oh, glorioso San Alejo!,
santo bienaventurado,
que inspirado por el Señor
te alejaste de la vida familiar,
y supiste renunciar a todo
para vivir solo y en mendicidad.
San Alejo bendito
tú que tienes el poder de alejar
todo lo malo que rodea a los siervos del Señor,
te suplico me protejas y defiendas
y me des energía, fuerza y valor…
Bondadoso san Alejo,
tú que encontraste favor ante María,
hoy que preciso tu ayuda
no me dejes abandonado,
con toda humildad te pido
que alejes al enemigo y el mal de mi lado.
Aléjame de Satanás,
del mentiroso, el ruin y el traicionero,
de maleficios, mal de ojo y de las malas lenguas,
del traidor, del difamador y del dañino,
aléjame de todo aquel que quiere
verme rendido y hundido.
Aléjame de la envidia,
del mal y la injusticia,
aléjame de los celos y el rencor,
del rechazo y la soledad,
escóndeme donde no me puedan encontrar
los que quieren causar mi perdición.
¡Oh Glorioso san Alejo!,
llamado “el Hombre de Dios”
acércame a Jesús y a María,
para que con sus Divinas Bondades
me cubran con todos sus bienes,
para que me guíen y me libren
de todo mal espiritual y terrenal,
y me ayuden a conseguir
la gracia que humildemente
hoy te vengo a solicitar:

Today, I went to the beach with my kids. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She placed the shell to her ear and screamed.
